Intuitive Counselling

If you have found yourself reading this page, you will have undoubtedly already realise that life has a habit of throwing us all manner of challenges that can stop us in our tracks when we least expect it.

Or we can find ourselves at a cross roads feeling lost, bewildered not really knowing which way to turn for the best or what direction to take, especially in the case of bereavement. Which takes on many forms, these include: Failing an exam, redundancy, Bankruptcy, ill health, loss of a loved one, loss of a beloved pet, all of these can lead to the onset of mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.

My path to becoming a complementary therapist and counsellor is not a conventional one, as I was introduced to esoteric studies and spiritual philosophy in my youth, as a result I have learnt how to use and adapt my gift of insight and intuition into the therapies that I offer my clients today.

It has always been my intention to be well grounded and not to lose sight of reality and it is for this reason that I have undertaken the necessary qualifications in order to offer this service.

The question I am often asked is what is spiritual counselling?

Intuitive counselling allows me to view your life from an inner perspective on a soul level, there are numerous ways in which I focus on you as a person, one is by using my intuition to get to the source and core of the situation, second is the use of traditional counselling skills and third is the use of NLP techniques, which can be incredibly grounding and empowering.

I blend a variety of different techniques together in order to create a bespoke treatment plan that will help and assist you.

It is my observation through my years of experience as a complementary therapist / counsellor that no one single approach will solve all of your difficulties, therefore it is for this reason I use different modalities that will best suit you.

Intuitive counselling is still essentially a talking therapy that allows you to discuss your problems, worries and any difficult feelings you are experiencing in a safe, non-judgemental environment.

Intuitive counselling can mean different things to different people, but generally, it is something people seek when they want to change a certain aspect of their life, need support, or because they want to explore and understand their thoughts and feelings more closely.

There are numerous benefits to Intuitive counselling, while it was previously seen as a final option for those who have reached crisis point, now it is recognised as a preventative measure, a form of self-care in managing difficult feelings before they get worse.

I recommend a minimum of six sessions over a six week period.
